Dear reader,
It’s been a long time since we’ve updated you with the ongoing Andariya activities, so here’s a jab at summarizing several exciting months and projects.
In an unexpected timely incident, Andariya met the amazing team behind the annual Sudan Independent Film Festival and an immediate union was formed to propel the upcoming 3rd edition of the festival into new heights. The strategic partnership places Andariya as the media and publicity partner of #SIFF2016, working closely with the organizing team to co-create, shape and disseminate this year’s event.
We’re exhilarated to be part of #SIFF2016 and to work with some of the most renowned movers and shakers of the film industry in Sudan- expect nothing short of brilliance.

We are on a mission to enrich the cultural and visual scene in the Sudans and believe that digital environments are of utmost importance for spreading messages and spurring discussions. We’d like to let you in on a concept project #MyKhartoum; a photography collective headed by our own Shihab AlDin Mugtaba and a diverse, talented team of photographers and designers. The series will run on Instagram and will be heavily featured on our website in the coming months. Keep an eye out!
We’re thrilled to welcome two new writers, Tasneem Dahab and our first South Sudan based writer Daniel Akol Dau.
Are you ready for content from South Sudan? So are we.
